Leapfrog Montessori forest SChool

Welcome to Leapfrog

We start each day exploring how to Fully Rely On God (F.R.O.G.). We are a Montessori school. Our teacher has a degree in elementary education, a master’s degree in early childhood education, and is AMS. We are a forest school. We do weekly service projects in Siloam Springs. We are a year-round school. We come together five days a week from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. We meet at 2307 Highway 412W Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, we meet at 19417 Nokes Farm Road to hike, explore the creek and pond, bake, do woodworking and art, cook and swim.

Our Environment

At LeapF.R.O.G. Montessori Forest School we are committed to prioritizing movement with hands-on and outdoor educational experiences. At the school campus, we grow flowers and vegetables in raised bed gardens. We take frequent outside breaks in ALL kinds of weather. When appropriate, classes will be taught in our outdoor classroom. On Fridays we will meet at the Sutherland’s barn which is situated off Nokes Farm Road on 60 acres past the Illinois River on Highway 16.

Learn By Doing

As Followers of Jesus, the board and staff at LeapF.R.O.G. Montessori Forest School put a high priority on preparing children for the joy of service–service to each other, our families, people of Siloam Springs. Our students will participate weekly by joining Community Kitchen in feeding the food insecure people in and around Siloam Springs. We are also planning to interact with residents of local nursing homes, We hope to share music, flowers, cards, and crafts with the elderly resident of our community.

Mission

Leap Frog Mission & Vision

At LeapF.R.O.G. Montessori Forest School our students strive for excellence spiritually, mentally, and physically. We actively strive for the success of all students, races, backgrounds, and religions. Students are encouraged to reach beyond basic knowledge, to embrace and value learning as a life skill, along with a personal relationship with Jesus, reflected by a commitment to service.
